Jesus, help us! Help us live like you did. Help us live with our hands open to your will and not our own. Help us be honest with ourselves and stop lying to our hearts when we are white-knuckling the things of this world. Do not let us be deceived by our heart’s selfish tendencies but rather reveal them to us that we may seek your forgiveness for hidden sins. Give us boldness to lift our hands in public & open them wide to the least of these. Keep us from being ashamed when we don’t look as the world thinks we should or when we are mocked for living “radical” lifestyles of love. There is no such thing as radical christianity in your eyes Jesus. There is only saved and unsaved. You are God, yet you became man. You are King, yet you became a servant. Thank you for setting for us an example through Jesus Christ. We praise you!
