Answered Prayers…

It has been a LONG time coming but finally Bethel Mission Outreach is now the proud owner of not one but TWO more plots of land! This is a huge deal because for years Gary has wanted to expand his ministry to meet the needs of the community but has been unable to find land near his mission base to keep his ministry united. One of the plots of land will be used to house 26 orphans and allow him to serve these children more successfully! The other plot of land will either be used to build another school building or possibly be the foundation for more community homes. If you have been praying for this issue…thank you! God has heard our prayers and has abundantly provided more than we initially asked for!

We have also seen the Lord’s abundant grace in the area of VBS. Last week, Bethel Misison Outreach along with a visiting US missions team, ran a vacation bible school program for over 300 children. During the course of the week, there were 61 verified salvations among the youth! Praise God!!!

Lastly, we have seen the Lord’s grace in the area of finalizing our NGO (non-government) status as an organization in Haiti. This will allow us to ship supplies from anywhere in the world into Haiti and thus alleviate the huge port tariffs that otherwise we would have to pay. All of the paperwork is complete and we are just waiting for the approval. This could still take a month or so, but we are praying that it will be much quicker.
